Liberated France

Version: 1.13
Single Player: AI is Axis

Situation:
Capital of France was moved to Bordeaux,
Colony Forces never abandoned, Algeria, Tunisia, Syria
Vichy Created,
Liberated France in 1942 (Bordeaux).

Result of Liberation:
The National Morale started at 100% and was dropping every turn.
It eventually did stop, but I an unsure if it was the Colonies joining the Allies or Italy Surrendering.

This situation did not affect my game play as I never expand the French Forces due to their low Research ability and time.
It just bothered me so I looked at the scripts.

As I see it, the [national_morale.txt]'France - Positions In The Mediterranean Are Abandoned' may be causing this.
The Remark in the file says 'REMOVE1941'.
I presume that it means this script is not to be included in Campaign Games starting in 1941 or later.
If that is so... should not this script have an End Date?

Just curious, no hurry on this.

Hi

The script you've mentioned does effectively have an end date as it requires Italy being neutral but pro-Axis to fire, so it must have been something else.

Do the Axis still hold large chunks of France? That would lower French National Morale a bit every turn, as having the enemy occupy the country does diminish it.

Yes,

The French Capitol was in Bordeaux, which began a slow take over of the rest of France.

As always, THANK YOU for the quick response.
