Does anyone have any effective strategies for taking Lenningrad in 1941 under the games current mod level?

Current official and beta versions need to be played for a few months yet before players adopt new strategies. Best to follow AARs at the top of the forum and watch strategy refinements and adjustments. When playing a human opponent strategies that worked flawlessly against the AI often fail miserably. OPLANS to take Leningrad usually involve throwing a lot of resources into AGN to effect a linkup with the Finns, and securing the towns with ports on east and south shores of Ladoga.
