The preset for periscope depth is -66 ft. However, in the attached example, although the submarine is supposedly at periscope depth, the above water sensors and snorkel are inactive. If the sub is manually ordered to -65 ft. then they start working.

I have noticed this in other scenarios. Although it's not a problem when the sub is being manually controlled, an autonomous sub may "think" it's at periscope depth but be unable to use sensors or snorkel.

Am I doing something wrong or is it just a rounding error?

What build are you running? This problem was reported for B998.8, but was fixed for B998.9. I just tried it and it appears to be working now.

v1.14 update - Build 998.9:

Many thanks for the quick response. The auto-update function was telling me I had the latest version, but obviously not! I have manually updated and the problem is now resolved.[8|]

That's because 998.9 is an interim hotfix, not (yet) pushed out through either the Matrix or Steam auto-updaters.
