Received a small update via Steam for TSS
error msgs then hang

That's strange. Can you do a file re-verification? It looks like at least one of the libraries is missing.

OOPS! Presume I must have PEBKACed it at some point today when I was cleaning up.
15 files reacquired and game starts okay.
