2.8.9.4 Supply Bug?

Yugoslavia and Turkey are both aligned to Germany. The Yugoslavia HQ-I, Prince Paul, is able to draw supply from Erzurum, Turkey when no other German units can. This can't be right? Can it?

Now when I reopen the game the mighty Prince is out of supply. I guess the issue was that before I saved and re opened, the game considered Prince Paul in supply and would have allowed him to destroy the oil RP he's sitting on. So my question is answered but not sure why he would shown in supply while everyone other axis unit in the region wasn't.

Wow, USA in Turkey. You certainly are testing the limits of the game.

And believe it or not this is from my attempt to recreate a historical playing experience. [:)]

I have seen a few games with USA and CW in Turkey. Usually it's a reaction to Germany aligning Turkey but I recall one time it was done preemptively to take advantage of a surprise impulse when it looked certain Turkey was about to be aligned.
I also have a hazy recollection of a game long ago where Germany and Italy DoW'd Turkey!

These are the worst bugs to fix. If one loads the game, everything is OK...

Yea, sometimes reloading does fix problems. Sometimes not.

The program doesn't recompute supply continuously (as events occur). I've tested that and it causes massive processing delays when moving units about, etc.
So, it is quite possible that some units are shown in supply when they aren't, or vice-versa. In particular, screen refresh (change the zoom level) often corrects the display of units' supply status on the Detailed Map. There are instances when you may want to 'force' supply to be recalculated. Moving an HQ will do that (then Undo the move).
Lastly, there are 'real' supply status bugs. I work on them reluctantly since supply calculations are extremely complex and any changes to that code are fraught with danger of causing a different bug to occur.
