Strategic Air Campaign Scenario

Wondering whether any designer has explored the possibility of a scenario based on a strategic bombing campaign. Early Europe, late Europe, the Blitz, Mediterranean, Poland, early Russia, Korea, Japan, NAM, NATO scenarios, 7 Day War, hypothetical, et al. These could all be air centric scenarios with win/loss points awarded for destruction of targeted objectives. Major units would be strategic bombers, tactical bombers, air/ground fighters, interceptors, AAA, SAM, factories, radar units, infrastructure, ports, transportation hubs, trains, bridges and HQs.

I know that some naval centric scenarios have been developed (Cross I believe), so maybe it’s time to give the air force the same recognition.

I like the idea myself. Especially the F-105's bombing Hanoi.

Yeah, the Buffs did their thing in 1972 during operation Linebacker II. Good catch Joey.

After all, maybe a strategic air campaign does have life.

In a campaign game, I can see where victory points are available to spend on improved air and ground capability. Players would need to balance the cost/benefit of expending victory points on defensive and offensive weapons.

If desired, I’m sure ground options can be blended into this concept. Also, I don’t do pipe weed. There is a security clearance to protect.

There's edibles now but you'd still fail the drug test. I've found Medical Marijuana helps my PTSD very well. I smoke the kind that has lots of CBD's and not much THC so it's not the kind that get's you high. It's medicine.
