I noticed that AFVs do not gain acquisition when they move, stop and fire at an AFV.

When they move, stop and fire at infantry targets, they gain acquisition as usual.

I apologise for being a pain, but this one is still unsolved (and yes, I am aware of the limitations of WW2 AFV technology and that a Pz III is not a Leopard 2):

The Pz IIIN and the StuG IIIG in the screenshot below both moved in the Movement Segment and spent 1 MP to stop.

The Pz IIIN fired at the 76mm infantry gun and gained acquisition

The StuG IIIG fired at the T-70 and did not gain acquisition.

UP844, this rule is working fine, this is TotH rule and not ASL rule.

I regret reviving this thread by reporting a different issue associated with target acquisition.

The Sherman in 7,3 moved in the previous British Movement Segment and remained <in motion>.
In the subsequent British Defensive Fire, it fired at a German infantry stack in 5,10 and gained acquisition
The screenshot has been taken in the British Fire Segment of the following turn. The Sherman has no targets in 5,10 (so the question is somewhat pointless) but it should not have gained acquisition anyway.
