I wish to add custom unit graphic to my newly created scenario.

My new pictures are in the .\Images\unitIcons\picsArmy1 but I can't see them in the image selector.

Is there a particular action to take care of ?

That should have done the trick. Try closing and then re-opening the Desert War program.
