I want to do an Ironman by PBEM, if anyone is interested ? I can be the allies or can go with the Japanese ( preferred )

Played 5 pbems to the end since 2011, never left a game so u can count on me to play to the bitter end.

You mean you would play against overwhelming material on the other side, directed by human not AI?

Yes, I am doing it at the moment, into late42 and as allies I had a hard time to fight my opponent to a stand still but I have high hopes of relieving PH from blockade.

Frankly, I wanted to give it a whirl from the Japanese side.

I dont know, I am not going to say I am very experienced to see all possibilities but by 1943, Japan is doomed one way or another. THis is the only scenario that I know even a sub-par strategist like me can have a chance to stop USN ( actually I prefer to play as IJN if possible )

Even with AI, Ironman is a load for the Allies. Extra ships. Bottomless pools of planes.

Like AI in other scenarios, Ironman is not particularly aggressive and a complete blockhead on land.

Tp play anIronman game a complete noob would be a handful even for experienced players.

A battle that looks like lost is a good challenge

Why don't you try an MP game using one of John's mods?

If you want a really wide open game, try a Focus Pacific game.

Apologies to anyone who replied but I was taken aback with some unplanned medical developments my behalf.

I am currently looking for a Japanese player for Focus pacific or any alternative timeline campaign. Please PM if u are interested.
