Couldn't find XXXX.dat

When I try to play a PBEM turn via Steam, I get an error saying the game can't find one-zero-three-five-eight-four.dat. All I can do is click okay and cancel. Oddly, this is happening on a different computer to the one I normally use - on that first machine it still works fine.

I would have uploaded a DXDiag file, but I'm not allowed until I've made a certain number of posts. Also I couldn't type the number of the .dat file as a number because it thought it was a phone number...

Hi Wilson,

The game stores the static PBEM++ file data locally so as to speed up the PBEM++ server processing and this can be found on your other computer at the following hidden folder:

C:\Users\<windowsusername>\AppData\Local\My Games\Strategic Command WWII - War In Europe\PBEM++\<matrixusername>

If you copy the missing file from this folder and then place it in the same folder on your other computer you should be able to get up and running again.
