Hi,
Stock scenario 1, and I play the Empire. So that I understand the Allied juggernaut could someone verify the Allied aircraft production and replacement rates.
Examples:
P-38E. Available 5/42. No upgrade. Replacement rate of 24 planes per month. Since it has no upgrade path the Allies get 24 planes per month starting 5/42 for the rest of the war.
P-38G. Available 10/42. Upgrades to P-38H. Production rate of 20 planes per month. Once the P-38H model is available, no more P-38G are produced.
B-24J. Available 9/43. No upgrade. Replacement rate of 38 per month and production of 12 per month. Allies get 50 planes per month from 9/43 to the end of the war.
Do I have it?
Thanks.

Nope. You need to look at the starting and stopping date for the production as well. The P-38E is only for one month that I recall.

Yes. Thanks I see that now on the aircraft data screen.
The P-38E is available for one month in 5/42.
The P-38G is available from 10-42-5/43.
The B-24J does not have an end date.
So the 20 production for the P-38G is only available from 10/42-5/43.
What about aircraft that get replacements? In the case of the P-38E are the 24 replacements only available for 5/42 or for the duration?

Thanks GP. I didn't check the editor. I went by the in game aircraft database. Will check on the end date later in the editor. But to the question about replacements. Let's say the P-38E is available from May - Oct 42, will the Allied player get 24 per month from May - Oct? Not trying to make it difficult. It seems pretty straight forward, but the game does have its quirks. And since I only play the Empire I'm not sure why there are replacements and a production value. Might have to do with off map factories, but the why is less important than validating the quantity.

Just so. The replacements are an abstraction that represents off-map factories, imports or whatever. The production value reflects on-map factories.
If the airframe has an upgrade, the factory will upgrade by default according to the availability schedule. The successor airframe then will normally receive new planes from three sources: off-map replacements, on-map factories that had been producing the prior model and upgraded, and on-map factories designated for the current model.
E.g. the P-51H in the stock scenarios will normally have 162 replacements per month plus 90 production from the upgraded on-map P-51D factory in Los Angeles plus 130 production from the P-51H factory in Los Angeles.

Actually I think the P51B upgrades its 30 to the 90 the P-51D has for 120 then the 120 goes to the P-51H for a total of 120 + 292 or 412.
