After Montgomery had taken command of the British troops in the desert, the 8th Army changed completely. The new commander, Montgomery, took charge of an army that had lost eighty thousand men since it was set up, and there was little time left to train the replacement teams. That was the real problem Montgomery faced. On 4 November 1942, Montgomery was ordered by El Raham to take over the port city of Tobruk within 11 days, which is a difficult undertaking in the morale of the 8th British Army.

I've been playing your Battle for the Ruhr Area campaign and so far have taken three bridges with the British, but at a cost. Great scenario. And also started the Stalingrad campaign commanding the Germans trying to advance against the Russian Red Army. Great stuff...
