Your welcome @jack54!

@demyansk...

If your in the US, you can buy direct from Compass Games:
https://www.compassgames.com/preorders/nightfighter-ace.html

In EU it´s still hard to find, my guess is that there still shipping but found a store (french):
https://www.agorajeux.com/fr/guerre-aerienne/8232-nightfighter-ace-air-defense-over-germany-1943-44.html?utm_source=BoardGamePrices.co.uk&utm_medium=pricecomparison&utm_campaign=bgp

Sometimes what you see on YT are pre-orders which are the first to ship, and/or copys for reviewers.

I havent bought it yet, it´s been awhile since I bought a boardgame, but I did buy this month (before I saw this), a mint copy of "Suqad Leader" 4th edition which will be at my door next week. For next month I have either "Old School Tactical Vol. II West Front, or "Cross of Iron" (Squad Leader) if I can find a decent and well priced copy.

Good job Red, I have eight unopened boxes in front of me, I just never get to play them.

Yeah well don´t worry about that [:)] Alot of wargamers have games they havent played yet or even opened. Then all of a sudden they open a box from a game in the 80´s that is still in it´s shrink rap, and play it!

One of the reasons for that is that wargames (boardgames) go out of print pritty fast if they are good games, then they become more expensive in the second hand market (see ASL) or hard to find. So folks buy them first, and then they will figure out when to play them. The Idea is to get them on your shelf first!

Seriously, you then need to make a decision and pick a game off your shelf, read through the rules and start playing. Basically because each day that goes by in your life, is a gift from above! Make good use of them....play wargames! [:D]

All too true ! RL and lack of time are almost as bad as cost. I recently got "Target for Today" and "Picket Duty" and have barely touched them.

I found making board game decisions are tough. The price is up there and once out of print maybe lost forever. I almost tore myself apart deciding between:

South China sea (compass)

https://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame ... -china-sea

Armageddon War (Flying Pig)

https://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame ... geddon-war

bought SCS because I have been looking for a near future naval game (there's not many) and it was $20 cheaper.

Armageddon War is on my Christmas list. I like the dice system used for combat.

Now that my decision is made I feel comfortable with it... yes I'm staring at my porch, is it here yet?

Two good games and I understand why it was tough. Just in case you didn´t know, Compass Games is working on a Volume II SCS...

Indian Ocean Region:

Upcoming and at a great price! [;)]
Pacific Tide: The United States versus Japan, 1941-45

I think Compass Games are putting out some really good stuff lately.

Well, curiously enough, I have a slew of titles that I’ve got in various stages of The Huntedassembly. Probably my next release through Compass Games will be Pacific Tide, which is a strategic Pacific Theater game, 1 year turns with a very unique card-driven game system.
