Why would my game suddenly end at the end of July.
I thought I was doing pretty well . Had captured Riga, Lvov, Minsk and was heading for Kiev.
I think I saw a message about the Gestapo being on the way.

What strategy where you using - Support Hitler / Moscow or Bust / Military Independence?

Hi miles,
You can only be fired when you choose the Military Independence strategy.
Other ways to lose suddenly are to lose one of your theatre HQ's (AGN/AGC/AGS) or let the Soviets capture a city across the starting border, eg. Konningsberg, Warsaw, Krakau or Bucharest.
I can't remember if the end of game PDF is generated in the case of a sudden loss but it may also be worth checking.
