Question about WiF-CE

Does anyone know if there is a rule about using the additional air and naval units from PoliFand KiF with Wif-CE? Some of them I can guess at, but some are unclear. For example, there is a Senegal MIL in PoliF that doesn't appear anywhere in in Wif-CE. Do the rules allow a player to include it in the French force pool? There are also a couple of HQ's (Hodges for the USA and Shapeshnikov for the Soviets) that I can't find a rule on including or not. And there are also some Soviet and Japanese planes and ships. Thanks for your help.

It happens that we are playing these days WIF CE... and if I am not wrong that SEN militia is bought and in the game.
Maybe I am wrong but I don't think so, cause there was some trouble with the Vichy rolls and we checked all the French units.
Maybe you are using a version that brings less expansions? Remember with this new wif you can get more expansions that come in the (older) separate sheets, depending of the kind of new WIF you are buying: Classic, DeLuxe, Super DeLuxe.
That regarding counters included in the (different versions of the) game. As for ruling I am still fighting with the new RAW.

Actually, I just got a response from Harry Rowland over at ADG. None of the combat units from any of the old kits are used in WiF-CE. The Senegal MIL was one of those units that I was confused about, buy apparently it isn't used.

Maybe age is beginning to affect him… Lol

And, in fact, I was surprised to be informed by my friends, when we unpacked the game (Deluxe or Superdeluxe, can't recall now) that the extra counters (from classic or deluxe) were the older countersheets, or so I was told and it seemed so to me...

All the counters in CE are new. They are Counter sheets 1 thru 6, 24 & 46 (Classic), 7,8 and 9 (PiF), 18 thru 22 and 51 thru 54 (SiF), and 47 thru 50 (Divs and Territorials).
Divs and Territorials replace Asia and Africa in flames counters. As you see in the list, those two kits are absent in the list for Super Deluxe.
There is an errata countersheet (55) coming out which will make KiF a completely redundant kit, since the note says it only gives the Intel option and those counters are on sheet 55 now.
I suppose someone could buy the Super Deluxe and use the PoLiF counters if they wanted to, but that same French WiF site also has a download of a spreadsheet with all the CE counters and the only countersheets on it are those listed above.
Finally, there would be overlap between PoLif and the new CE Classic counters, FREX Guderian.

I just spoke to my friend in the phone and now he says the comment he made "all the planks are the same as before, because they need to write them off", applied only for some expansions (like FiF frex.).
As for the counter sheets being "new", we could say that they have had some modifications I believe, thanks God no radical changes that can make them "new". Although to justify a sell it sounds better. [;)]
Which does not change the fact that he remembers too a SEN militia (5-3) in the WIF CE. BTW my friend's game is Deluxe. If we play this weekend I'll send a photo.

This is another example of an overlap between PoLiF and CE. The Senegal Mil is a PoLiF unit. Now it is on the CE "Classic" countersheet. You would not play with two of them just as you would not play with two Guderians.
Probably the biggest changes in CE counters are among the air units.
