I just lost a brigade in my game against Apollo (see also his recent bug report on this forum).

Game database got corrupt and I lost major part of my brigade, that I was desperately air-transporting to PM to stop his invasion. Without the disappeared brigade - PM may fall.

Another (so far) GREAT game ruined by this, months old, and seemingly trivial bug! I never thought I'd say this but screw you 2by3!

Either fix this game or say you can't do it, and call it quits!

Hire some decent database programmer or something...

I've had UV games ruined by (allegedly fixed) bugs reappearing in worst moments. If you can't solve unit disappearances and replay incosistency in UV - WITP is going to be debacle.

To all my PBEM partners reading this I am taking some days off the game, I am very irritated at the moment.

What Oleg described happened but it remains in doubt that his airlifted brigade
would mean difference...


I think that this bug is result of my fighters intercepting and destroying
some C-47 transporters that were involved in that airlift.

Perhaps the commander of that airlifted brigade was in plane that was shoot
down?

This is what I would bet my money on with this bug...


Also, I _STRONGLY_ urge and _PLEDGE_ to Oleg no to be so pissed about this
unfortunate bug and continue to play as usual!

Hell... war is hard and many bad things happen (bad luck - s**t happens)... we
all have all kinds of non-satisfaction of how our "little guys" behaved in our
PBEMs...

Leo there's no reason for you to be "sorry" nor to reply to my message. I have no problems accepting DEFEATS and you know it. And I enjoyed playing you so far.

What I have problem accepting is TRIVIAL bugs that should have been fixed in patch 1.1 and remain alive to this day, only to appear at the worst possible moment. (This same bug almost ruined our previous game - remember when another of my brigades disappeared?!)

And I won't even going to explain what difference "abducted" troops would mean in our game (and they would make a difference believe me) because that's not the point here.

Point is we play the game still riddled with amateurish bugs a beginner in database programming should be able to resolve in one afternoon!!!

I don't know whether I'd continue playing UV at all, and I don't mean just our PBEM game...
