just bought this game. Check for update and it can't download the update due to inability to open Update FTP file.

please try a different browser or alter your firewall settings to allow access to the app / program.

or just use the members area and download the file from there using a Free FTP program, or a good browser like chrome

I am using chrome. I see nowhere where my app settings are interfering with this download.

Restarted and the update started. Then got message unable to update autorun.ex and a couple of other files.

Restarted again and it says I have the latest version of the game. However autorun.exe and acouple of other files weren't updated.

all links checked working fine

the game won't update a file that's in use, that's why you get the error message, close the program down first, make sure it's no longer running in task manager and try again

download the patch, and update it when the game isn't running or still in memory

right click install as admin on the patch, and let it do it's update, without the files in use, they will update, reboot the pc to make sure if you don't want to close the files manually in task manager etc
