Problem adding custom scenario image

Having given up on TOAW4 I re-installed an old copy of TOAW3 & applied the latest patch/update. The game works well & I'm happy with it. Just one thing: I can't seem to get the game to recognise & display custom scenario images. I designed a new scenario & wanted to add an image as described in the manual. I have Photoshop & creating the custom image was easy. But it won't show up in the game, no matter which folder I put it in.

Hi & many thanks for this. I followed the instructions in the TOAW3 documentation that ships with the game--used a 256pix grayscale image, blended it with the Photoshop custom-image template, named it with the exact-same name as my scenario, saved it as a bmp file, and put it in the specified directory. But it doesn't show up in-game.

Update: I just solved the issue with some lateral thinking. I had the "Text Contrast" set to Maximum. But if I change it to "Standard" then the custom-scenario image shows up in-game.
