How can I register Mare Nostrvm I have bought on Steam?
Or is that not possible just like with FOG2?

It isn´t possible.
Only possible register from Matrix to Steam

buy from here and you can register on here, buy from steam or GOG etc and you can't, buy from here and if there's a steam key out, now or at a later date you get that as well
