Running the game in win10.
It seems that i cant find my save games although i don't have such problem with CW2 or wars of napoleon games.

site or steam version?

also depends on where you installed it, as my steam game is installed on default, but on the D drive and not C which most would use etc, but path would be the same for steam



but either way in game in the menu shown it will also show your correct path to your saves with either version, good luck and happy gaming

Bought from Matrix site.
The game installed itself to C directory and in the path that was probably predetermined without me changing anything.

The not so funny thing is that i saw the picture that you provided but there are no saves there although its the saves folder of the game.

I even made an experiment by saving and then deleting the save game from the game option.Then i went to the recycle bin and the deleted file is there but when i ask it to unrecycle itself, it will not.
So the save games folder is empty of saves and only has a doc. 1 kb large that says 'saves are saved here' only that there are no saves.

Where are my save games?

the game only saves to where it's shown,

so are you running a admin account?

did you install as admin?

rename a file and call it something else, and then do a search for the name, and where ever it is, is your default game file location

so here's you'res on site version

C:\Users\Your name\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Matrix Games\Wars Of Succession\WSS\Saves

note that appdata folder is hidden, so you will need to un hide it to see it even, but the saves will still be there, even if you don't
