One feature missing....

The game has ticked many boxes people request when it comes to tactical wargames and that's to be applauded!

Though many want to see a campaign feature including me that's not the one I'm missing.

Multi level buildings. That's the only feature in context to the actual fighting I can see, that's often requested and often absent, and is absent here.

If further down the line we get campaigns and multi level buildings I reckon we will finally have a tactical wargame that hits all bases!

Personally can't wait to see WW2 version, Vietnam ( if we get heli insertions) and finally that steam Punk WW1 mod that was out for free version! As well as heli insertions paras too please☺

One major reason I want to see a WW2 version is I find modern warfare to fast and lethal!

In fact can't wait for mods. This needs a Steam release as priority

The branching campaign system will certainly be there. The game could have a SOP option for the infantry entering the ground or top stories of a building, if there's a serious need for that feature. Currently they always go to the top level.

Steam punk WWI??? any link to the mod??? sounds... P.K.Dicktastic [;)]

The interest in multilevel buildings for me is more related with WWII, maybe other thing to have in mind is whats going on with ancient defensive works... castles and similar, they had an important role in certain battles and modern permanent defensive works (Maginot line, Atlantic wall or normal defensive lines based in bunkers), i see game include MGs bunkers but they are the small versions.

Sadly not. Though it shows what may be still possible in the morning department!

Multilevel buildings I think in modern warfare may come into their own when talking about several floors high. Keep Hq lower level splattered snipers higher etc and not all crowding same floor. Still I see why WW2 makes it a touch more important.

Paras and heli insertions are top of my list now though.

Well, its true that in the actual "asimetric warfare" multilevel buildings offer a new type of microwar (i think in Syria) but that is for me something very very very tactical with limited presence of vehicles, more for a game like "Syrian warfare" and in titles like AB even when are a lot of urban areas the combat is more into the space between villages-cities, because both sides can fight to win using same tools.

Maybe in future if all works fine this could be added, i really think that is somethign necesary when infantry presence in battlefield be more important and we can see pure infantry VS infantry in villages-cities.
