(This coming from a real time game hater, well, except Graviteams series and first CC games when infantry weren't just cannon fodder. AB is no silly click fest!)

Lets see if has a good start, i need wait 4 weeks more but... better later than never.

AWNT won't have a review out for a few days yet, remember we do this for love☺, if we where a professional website we'd have a review out a min after release😁.

I have heard Tim Stone Flare Path over at Rock Paper Shotgun will have a review out Friday

Hoping [:)]for AB to change my opinion of a real time wargame with battalion worth of individual squads and vehicles running around the map. Time will tell.

must admit im not a fan of RTS, but as this one plays like a dream, also change my mind tbh same as wodin opinion on it

if more RTS were like this, then rts wouldn't have such a bad name as some have given them (me included), as me for one who likes a more slower pace game can play it with ease and find it a joy to play and control, so not a click fest (tank rush) at all

would recommend it to anyone who doesn't or does like RTS tbh, and yes i'm not real fan either of RTS in general, but this one has converted me to the ability to at least play it and more often than not, enjoy myself and forget it's a RTS in the first place, so may now look at others which i have by past just because it said RTS in the write up[8D]

I’ve never considered AB a RTS. It’s a war game, that happens to play in real time. The ability to pause and issue orders has always been critical, and allows for a player to even easily control multiple battalions. There is nothing like the feel of being in command of a Soviet regiment as it assaults NATO forces. AB let’s you do that.

To be more correct AB is a RT, Real Time game, lacks the S of strategy in RTS because i allways related strategy with production or at least a with something more than a tactical use of avaliable resources in battlefield.

But if you need play out of turn scheme is going to be clickfest anyway [:D]

Or RTT, Real Time Tactical.
