Is there a way to toggle off the colour overlays for various orders? I'm really not a fan of bright yellows and pinks etc cluttering up screen.

I don't remember seeing an option for that, but you may be able to at least mod the waypoint markers. My guess is the lines between the points are done on the fly and colors are hard coded. There is an option to toggle between lines and waypoints for all units and just the formation. That will declutter your screen a decent amount.

Shift W toggles way points, CTRL B toggles target lines, Shift F toggles engagement ranges, click on that keyboard looking thing top left for all the hot keys.

These can be toggled in the options menu or by using the keyboard shortcuts, that are listed in the hotkeys screen.

I don't see anyway to toggle off the helo/aircraft/artillery BP's and TRP's, am i missing it.

Yes that's what I'm looking for as well

CTRL G clears everything.

Ok so I guess there should be a separate option for toggling BPs and TRPs, because it has been suggested several times.
