Does anyone know how many extra MPP's GB gets from a industrial production chit.

I'm not sure about the way your question is worded, but maybe you mean this:
Industrial Technology – this increases a Major home production by 10% (20% for the USA).

If you Alt-F the Manual for 'Industrial' you come across some other fine points.

So its 10% on UK & Minors only (not Canada etc). I don't invest in Industrial Production for GB much think its a mistake. All others I max out.

I think everyone wants to max out eventually, the tricky part is exactly when to buy the chits, especially for Germany and the Soviets. The chits are expensive, and Germany has critical purchases it needs to make by certain dates. The Soviets have limited funds and really need to buy Infantry weapons and AA early, or risk starting Barbarossa with zero tech upgrades.
I don't think there is a formula for it, you just have to adjust and buy it when you can, but you can't wait too long, or it will become the reason you lost.

US Germany & SU its always a top priority for me early. GB seems more marginal, other more important research to defend the island and Egypt.

Question is really interesting.
Someone could exactly calculate after how many months that investment in GB is profitable. Im too lazy now.

I think its about 15 pts (10%) per turn so 8 turns.

Good question. When IP research is at level 5 is it worth 50% or 61% of base MPP's?

I don't know the answer.
