Hi,
I can start the game, but always after selecting battle and going next there is:
"Unable to load: YSStart.fx. Please reinstall Close Combat"
What I did, but it`s still the same.

Windows 7,64bit

any idea ?

uninstall and make sure the folder is clean / removed, then login to the members section here. instruction are below,

then download not only the latest installer, but also the latest patch,

while you're on win 7 and not 10, my guide will help you install it correctly

please also remember if you use some anti virus programs, the game and update will need to be added to the white or safe list, as some AV program are very poor with games, so check the logs to also see if your's hasn't stopped something from installing or running etc,...

Uninstalled,deleted game folders manually,downloaded latest install.exe and patch from Matrix member site,installed both as Administrator.
Now it works [:)]
