Hello all,

Could someone please help me get this game on my MacBook? I tried downloading Wine last night but had some difficulties and some weird things were going on on my laptop. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Stinkybergen

I've heard that the game has run on macOS+Wine, but I haven't tried it myself. Could you perhaps describe what kind of weird things you had on your laptop?

I've used Parallels Desktop for years. You will need a copy of W10 though, so if you can get Wine to work that's easier. I've used Parallels for years due to my research needing it so I was already set up to use it.

You can also boot directly to Windows using Bootcamp, but again, you'll need W10 (or any W operating system).

Just for the sake of any other Mac users who might run into the same problem you did, would you be able to describe:

1. What errors/issues you encountered when you tried it the first time that caused you to come here to post?

2. What you did to fix them and get the game running?

Thanks!

Any chance there's someone who can speak to this running in MacOS+Wine? I'd like to take this with me on my macbook for the holidays.

Even if not officially supported, the game has been reported to run on MacOS+Wine.

Your best option is steam + proton.

It works great and it is extremely easy to set up.

Isn't Proton mainly for Linux?
