I am suddenly having issues with saved game files not working. I have attached the most recent of my game. Summer of 42. It just wont load. In fact the previous 4 saved files wont load. If I go back a year or so, in the game, those file still load just fine. Just last few including todays.

Any thoughts? Can anyone successfully load this game?

(quick question...should my save game file be un playable. Is there a way to load an old game, and delete units to recreate the current situation? if so how?)

I had a problem not being able to open a saved game after a crash. In the end I went back to the most recent saved impulse I could open and just replayed it. In such cases don’t forget to “save as” the original file name, or a new name, otherwise it won’t be “fixed”.I once had trouble opening a saved game which was being really fussy and so did the same as noted and gave it a new name which solved the problem ...

I can't load this game. It simply freezes while loading...
