[Q] SSBN Doctrine

Hi there

I'm busy with a scenario at the moment, the setup is as follows:

I have a SSBN that is transiting from one point to another. No matter what mission I give it, when it detects another sub it takes off in the opposite direction at full speed [&:]. Now it is a SSBN and so makes sense to avoid contact but to head away at high speed is counter productive, if anything it should cut speed from cruise to creep?

Any thoughts welcome.

Hey Quinton,

You have to set the "Auto Evade" doctrine setting to "false" for the SSBN. Boomers deliberately try to avoid other contacts instead of investigating them.

I think jetjunky wants the SSBN AI evasion routine to evade quietly instead of loudly?

Quinton, can you post a suitable save to look into? Thanks!
