How does this game compare with Sid Meier's Gettysburg and Antietam?

Although SMG had some preferred features, SOWGB has filled in quite nicely as the 'ACW Grand Scale Battles' simulator that SMG left. The games are similar, but different, and vive la différence, because it's a whole new game to play and mod, experiencing battlefield immersion at a whole new level.
