In the following save roll 4-4 for Singapore and 10ax, 9 al for saipan (not sure any of this matters)
then in a2a all sides roll 10 or 11 so all bombers cleared nothing shot down.

Then try to return the 3 JP planes to bases. After all are returned to base the phase won't end. There is nothing left to do but the end phase button is not active. Any way to get around this?

Note that there is something weird going on with the JP cvp - the dialogue box says it's automatically landed but then another box pops up to land it again.

I think I have a workaround for you. Here's what I did. I edited the game file to change the version to 2.7.0, loaded the game with that version, which resulted in two error messages and two MWiF "fix" messages. I then saved that game, which I've attached, loaded into into 2.9.4 and got through the troublesome phase.

It looks to my eye like you changed your mind about sending in one or more of the air units.

Using Undo for unloading units at sea can create problems with a unit appearing in two places at once. I am trying to figure out how to fix that.

I'll use your saved game to try to reproduce the problem.

btw, one suggestion. I keep running into a problem in 2.9.4 (and in some earlier versions also) where all rtb's (of planes, ships, etc) are done but phase cannot be ended. I might suggest that when a player clicks the red arrows (left/right) to select next unit that needs to be rtb'ed - if there are no units avail to move to then the green button to end phase should light up (be active).

Seen that a few times and it's usually a CP that's been missed (hopefully not one that should have been on Sentry and somehow now isn't).
