Hi, I'm totally new at WiF and I'm just trying to understand the basics and the sequence of play. I've been conducting a certain number of attacks with both sides but suddenly, it seems I'm trapped in an infinite loop. Can't exit this screen, where ever I click I can't get out. If I click "destroy" then nothing happens and the other button "no effect" becomes active. If I click "no effect" then nothing happens except that the "destroy" button becomes active. And I don't see any other place I could click.
What am I doing wrong ? How do I get out the loop ?

Game won't advance from here until Allies implement the combat result. Select on the Allied unit then select destroy.

Looks like the problem is the program is looking for 2 attacking units to destroy - but there is only one attacking unit. Bug?

To me it looks like only the "Destroy" button is active, which you should be able to click on the one defending unit, hit that button and all should be fine. However, may I suggest that you upload your game right at the beginning of the land combat resolution phase so we can take a look. You should be able to upload the auto-save of that game at that point, which will be located in the allied folder.

However, after that, I decided to exit the game and reload my save. And I had a crash. I saved the crash report (see attachment - I zipped both the save and the report).
I'm using the last beta patch. 2.09

Would it be possible for you to upload the file from your autosave folder that I have highlighted in red below? I'd like to see what happens when the land combat is processed. Thanks.

Here you are but it has been erased/overridden because after I reloaded the game I played several rounds until I finished the first turn, and without the problem anymore.
