Need some advices....

Hello everyone,
I need some advice ...
I am editing some of the terrain graphics files
of the game to make it a more "modern" look.
My concern is that I do not find the graphic transition file between terrains, ie :between "clear and arid" terrain
Can someone tell me where I can find these transitions?

Also, does anyone know what terrain files are in each Nation directory?
for example "national_mountain_sprites"
it is a new file that replaces the existing terrain or is a overlay?
And in what cases are they used ?
thanks in advance for your help.

Nick

I am not sure to understand what do you mean by transition. The file tile_sprites_arid.png in Bitmaps directory contains the arid terrain. It is triggered by the weather zone.

Hi,
thank you for your answer…
I mean the graphical transition from one type of terrain to another.
I found it, this is in "weather_border_sprites"

Hello Nickgen

The tiles present in each Nation directory is used when you enable the "nations colors" on the map during gameplay or editor.
Its the standard tiles with a color filter applied (eg France got Blueish tiles, Ussr Redish tiles ect...)
I think it does replace the basic tiles (no overlay)
