Having problems porting a mod from WinE to WatW.

The editor keeps crashing when I am in the unit layer if I scroll the map into southern France or immediately south of there. The mod compiles fine as far as the scripts go and I can edit all the other layers without issue provided I do not display the unit map.

This is the error I get: FAILED(draw_sprite_on_map_surface): Segmentation violation

Any thoughts on what is causing this?

Right now there is no way to properly import a mod from WiE to WaW as the data structures have changed to much and this is likely the source of your issue.

What I would suggest is updating WiE to v1.16 Beta, of course only if you play against the AI as it will not allow you to continue to play PBEM++ games, and then with the v1.16 Beta package there is a conversion tool that will automatically convert your MOD to the new Strategic Command format that is also in use for WaW.

Essentially WiE will be updated to the latest changes that are present in WaW and the v1.16 Beta is the way to go for now.
