Terrain question

How do you make desert coastal tiles? I am laying down my coastal tiles which are green. When I go to put sand over them, it just blanks out the coast tile.

I think Desert is a full terrain tile, whereas you might be wanting a non-green coastal tile ? If yes, then go to changing the Weather Zone.
