Hesitation problem solved!

After recently being forced to use Win 10 on a fresh install, I was having annoying hesitation (one to 60 seconds!) on reaction to mouse clicks and somewhat less annoying response to commands like saving a game. I tried a suggestion to use the -multiaudio switch but no joy.

In my Win 7 install I followed Bill Olson's advice to reserve CPU 1 for Windows so I set -cpu2 and all worked well. I decided that Win 10 must also be using CPU 2 so I just changed my switch to -cpu3, et voilĂ , no more hesitation issues![:)].

My switch string:

"C:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition\War in the Pacific Admiral Edition.exe" -altFont -archive -deepColor -px1680 -py1050 -w -fixedArt -skipVideo -multiaudio -SingleCpuOrders -cpu3
