Clicked on the check for update and got the following error.

Error: Update information for strategic commamd WW11- war in Europe could not be downloaded.
Please contact matrix games for help.

So here I am!!

Download and install it manually from the Member's area.
You can download games and patches from the Member's Area provided they are registered to the account. Please see the forum post below which explains how to do this:

I don't see the latest patch that is on the main SCWIE screen either in the members club. It says version 1.1 in the notes as of 1/16/19, but the latest version is 1.15 of June this year.
