Combat odds

Hi, is there a way to know the pre-combat odds without opening the battle planner ?
Can't figure out ...

I also noticed, that very often the combat odds shown in the combat planer are very poor, but during the actual combat the friendly units score an easy victory, with few casualties. So are there some factors that impact the combat results but are not taken into account when the combat odds are recalculated?

An example - very poor odds and expected heavy loses:

Actual result - enemy retreats and light friendly loses:

I understand that the predicted combat results are an estimate, but extremely incorrect predictions happen very often. I noticed this already playing the tutorial, Korean scenario.

Obviously, like a real staff, the planner doesn't know what the defender's loss tolerance orders are, or their morale. So, who's going to hold or stand is hard to predict. But the Odds thingy was right. That's the new part of the planner that is most useful.
