Iron Cross 2D Counter & Map Mod Released

Comrades,
The latest version of the Iron Cross mod is 4.7.
Please note that the Iron Cross mod can now be used for both World at War and War in Europe.

Kudos IronX to a great looking & very well-made mod that’s gonna be awesome!
I’m fiddling with a ”NATOs & Silhouettes” 2D counter mod that’s nearing completion (I hope). At least on the zoomed in level.
I’ve tried to avoid multi-colored counters, i.e. with darker lower sections to make strength & upgrade indicators clearer.
But it looks really nice on your counters so I may have to reconsider. Again… [:)]

^ It's mostly compatible. WaW uses the first six images - which is all I'm doing - on a row and if I recall correctly, WiE uses 12. So some minor work would be required to make it work.
When it's finally finished, the mod will also come with historical flags and my map graphics.

I think it will be fully compatible for WIE (from v1.16)
I believe WAW and WIE both use the 12 images per rows (its mainly mannaging facing/orientation settings).
"usualy" the six first images are facing east and the last six are facing west (you can swap by using editor if necessary)
Excellent work and good idea to add the vehicles ID's (in such a small space I guess thats not so easy)

I think you're right, at least for WiE. I recall having to do this when I originally started working on the mod. It doesn't seem to make a difference in WaW: i.e., it appears to only use the first six.
@roy64: Unfortunately, no. I don't think it can be done.

Looks phenomenal! My personal preference would be to keep symbols for garrisons, SF and engineers - namely all the infantry type units.

Very, very well done. While the other sets are good too, this one shines in it's mild elegance.
I'm using Sipres counters now, and like them very much, but if your version is ready before I tire of the game, I must surely give them a shot too. I'll play slowly.

Modded border lines are just great. New counters are just awesome. Good work!
