Editing a Battle

If I use the battle generator to create a battle and then save the battle during the deployment stage, can I go back and edit things like weather, troops selected, etc?
Currently the only way to do it is to edit the scenario.xml file in the scenario folder. One planned improvement is to allow the player to re-run the unit selection phase on any scenario.
