The Burma Road problem

I've noticed that supplies can't be sent to China via the Burma Road until Japan is at war with the UK because Burma is neutral. It doesn't seem reasonable to me that China is denied all US aid for about a year (between the Japanese occupation of Haiphong and war with the UK there is nothing), and it removes one of the reasons why historically the Japanese invaded Southeast Asia (to further isolate China).

One could suggest large amounts of diplomacy spent on Burma to turn them Allied earlier, but this isn't worth it and doesn't make any sense thematically. I would simply advise changing the event of "Event fires: When Kunming, Rangoon, Mandalay and Lashio are in Allied hands" to not be in Axis hands instead.

Makes sense to me. Bridge on the River Kwai. Are there bridges in the game? Nimegan, Bridge Too Far.

I was hoping maybe Hubert or Bill could take a look at this. I find it hard to believe this is how it was intended.

Hi Ancient One

I will be looking at this, to consider what options we might have for increasing its availability. However, there would then be the question of the effect changing it could have on balance in China, so I don't want to promise anything just yet.

I think it's also worth pointing out that Japan can currently occupy Rangoon immediately after going to war with the UK, thus the Burma Road might not happen at all, since that's one of the locations required.
