I downloaded and installed the game but when I click on the "Play Game" button nothing happens. When I click on any of the other buttons in the short-cut panel nothing happens either.

Is this in the Matrix launcher where you see "change settings", "game manual" etc?

Yes. FYI, the game manual will appear when the button is pressed. Game settings will not appear when button is pressed.

Bill, what is your OS and specs on your computer? Do other games from Matrix function?

Dell laptop running Windows 10 Pro v.1803
Intel Core2 Duo processor 2.40 GHz
4.00 GB RAM (3.45 available)

Only other Matrix game I currently run is Command (Wargame of the Year Edition)

How to get a DirectX Diagnostic file:

1. click on "START"
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

We prefer that DxDiag files be posted as message attachments rather than pasted into the body of the post.

once the report has been made, just attach it to your post as it's a Txt file which is then permitted to attach to the forum.

Bill, what kind of video chip is it using and what is your screen resolution?

if it won't let you attach and add the file, just send it to me and i'll post it for you if you wish?

Screen resolution is 1280 x 800.

The only thing I could find on video chip is that it apparently is from Mobile Intel 4 Series Chipset Family

The first button in your bottom left (with the Windows Symbol).

Reference "Dxdiag", has it not changed though now and you cannot do tests. I know once upon a time, you could run tests, but now, there is no option to do so, you open it up, it has a little "think" and then you can save everything as a txt file etc, there is no stress testing etc on the graphics card for example. I have the latest version from what I can see (Windows 10) and checking online, my version matches all current screenshots etc. I have a feeling, it changed when Windows 10 come out.

Do you know if your intel graphics driver is OpenGL 2.0 or better. Need a developer to chime in on minimum resolution as well with the 800 vertical.

The minimum supported resolution is 1024x768.

I don't know if my Intel graphics driver is OpenGL 2.0 or better and am not sure how to go about finding that out. I haven't seen any indication that it is or isn't in the previous information I've come across.

If you have the latest drivers I think it should support opengl up to 2.1: LINK

I did an update to all drivers via Windows (presumably including OpenGL). Game still did not start after numerous attempts. Have uninstalled the game. Thanks to everyone for your patience and your help.

Did you try to reinstall the game at any point?

Is there an error.log file in the game folder?
