Desperate Measures

01/27/1945, Hungary, near Gran.
You are to launch a spoiling attack to buy us time to fortify Gran. Your objective is the small village near a commanding riverbank. The village has 2 shallow fords that must be taken and held against enemy counter-attack. We hope to catch the Russians asleep, so you are ordered to launch a night attack. Russian Infantry hold the village with antitanks guns and the rumbling of tank engines has also heard there.

German :--> Russian

Scenario Length: 10 Game Turns

Scenario designer:Combat Mission'Men [Combat Mission 2 Barbarossa to Berlin]

Hi Rico,

I have a problem getting the right maps to work for 'Desperate Measures'.

I have put Desp1.bmp and Desp2.bmp in the 'Art/Maps' folder,

I have put Desperate Measures.map in the other 'Maps' folder.

This usually works for me - not this time, though! I keep getting a completely different map.

Any ideas?

For simple scenarios, I simplified the procedure of setting up the files necessary for their execution by grouping them in a single file of the game as shown in the image below to avoid the errors of the past.
Obviously this is not enough, Richard.[:D]

Thanks a lot, Rico, it's just me over complicating matters, as usual; it works fine now.

I was going to thank you for the scenario, too, then I noticed you'd made another already - how do you do it!

Rico....Your new install is great!! Have you converted your earlier HoS Scenarios?

Also used JSMGE for your Dark July scenario's....perfect....
