CSME under WINE on OSx

For reference, CSME plays ok with WINE 4.0 (using unofficial Wineskin Winery/Porting kit) on imac running OSx High Sierra.

I had to use Winetricks to to set ddr=gdi, and to install directplay (this latest may not be necessary) - otherwise the map appeared white (with Macdriver) or black (using X11)

The game plays fine, the only minor snags are an over-sensitive mouse zoom scroll (best to use the keyboard numbers to change map zoom) and the pop-up intro menus' text appear blank (clicking on the text it appears).

Regards

I had this problem on my (since died) Ubuntu Linux laptop, where CSME ran more or less perfectly on Wine save for a few glitches, the highlighted issue being one of them.

The issue has since been fixed. You will have to wait for the fix until the next public release of CSME, which unfortunately won't be happening any time soon.
