As shown in the attached screenshot, the AI decided to fire at a hex containing both infantry and an AFV, but before the fire was carried out the game paused and a window appeared, asking me [:D] what target should the AI select. (I told it to fire at the infantry, of course [:D]).

Do you have a saved game by any chance ? I will take a look...

I thought about saving the game after I clicked, but I thought the cause triggering the appearance of the selection window had already disappeared.

I will play the scenario again (it's a very little one), saving before any AI fire segment in which the ATR can possibly fire at the 222.

In the meantime, I will check the code...

I too have experienced the "AI asking for advice" but it's a rare occurrence. When it does happen I don't see it
as a bug instead, I see it as good fortune. [:D]
