How do I pick up a dropped support Weapon? It says to do it in the Admin phase but I can't figure out how to do it.

There are two ways to pick up an unpossessed SW:

in the Admin Segment, units will automatically attempt to pick up any unpossessed SW in their hex. You have no control about who picks up what, even though you may transfer weapons between units in a subsequent Admin Segment (see below).
in the Movement Segment, if you are or have just moved in a hex containing an unpossessed SW (and you still have enough MP left), you can make an attempt to recover the SW by clicking on the "Recover SW" button on the right side of the screen.

SW Transfer: in the Admin Segment, you can transfer SW by selecting a unit possessing a SW, the SW and another unit with no SW and then pressing "Alt+W" (if I remember correctly).

I don't remember if the feature is documented in the manual.

It comes especially handy when you have an Elite and a Conscript squad in the same hex with a .50 HMG and the Conscript picks up the SW (and then - obviously - goes OOC [:D]).

Yeah, but there's still the problem of not being able to swap a malfunctioned weapon with a serviceable weapon in the same hex if it's not possessed. [:(]

Hi Peter, any chance that might change in the future? Coz, if nothing else, one could pick it up and move it (can't destroy it...yet [:D]) so that it can't be re-captured by the enemy later
