Murmansk Convoys

Hi all,
I discovered something interesting ...
The Murmansk Convoys continue even if I interrupt the only railway that connects the Kola peninsula to Russia, for example. if I occupy Belomorsk. IMHO, the convoys should move to Arkhangelsk ...
But, If I occupy the city of Murmansk, they stop ...
regards

Maybe the Pulkas are shuttling them?

One oddity I found is that if you take the British Isles the Murmansk convoy switches over and comes from the USA but if you take Murmansk the convoy does not shift to Arkhangelsk.

Hi,
Trawling through the forum for some answers I found this old thread.
Is it indeed the case that if you cut off the rail from Murmansk to Russia, a) the arctic route stays in Murmansk b) Russia continues to receive income?
(By the way, is it still the case that all you need to do to force the convey route from Murmansk to Archangel is to move a unit, even a garrison, adjacent to Murmansk?)

It isn't, as Murmansk and all hexes to Belomorsk plus Vologda have to be in Allied hands for the convoy to arrive there.
However, it will otherwise switch to Archangelsk which doesn't have such restrictions, but where the convoy can only arrive in 3/4 of the year.

Not adjacent to as such, but if it is placed on the road south from Murmansk, then yes, it will be blocking the route.
