This opensource project is re-making Wargame franchise, but not 100% the same. I mentioned "Wargame-based" in title, but this project is more like "following-Wargame" or "Remake of wargame". Devs mentioned about this project, this will be spiritual successor of Wargame franchise.
Because Eugen doesn't open their source code, those moders start from the scratch, and they changed the game engine from Unreal to Unity. Game will feature squad ~ company size battles, but I think size can be enlarged. Their objective is to describe the weapons and platforms of time frame from cold war to near-future. Check their websites if you are interested.
Their target is more like RTS rather than typical 'wargame', so there will be a some degree of difference from AB or other 'wargame' genre games. I'm not sure how much reality will be considered from their project, but because it is opensource, they will also consider 'realism mod' or something similar.
