I think everyone has already found this site...

Winterwar.com-site contains actual battlemaps, locations, weapons, tactics (both finnish & russian), pics and other miscellaneous stuff:

Weasel,

Thanks, I'm doing my best... unfortunately my wife doesn't agree on my use of free time to this 'hobby', but I can't stop know, while the site is unfinished!!!

And that means it'll go forever as the site has already grown from the original plan of 5+ pages "just testing this HTML-editor" to a neverending project that only grows and grows...

BTW, would you mind editing your original post so that the link would direct visitors to the index page www.winterwar.com
so that I can keep some track of the number of visitors?

Regards,
Sami

I corrected that original URL as you wished. Keep on good work, and don´t let your wife boss you around about that matter. Image

You can get an English NTSC version of Talvisota through Amazon.com. For a PAL version, you might wish to check Amazon.co.uk or even Amazon.de.

Tech-stuff coming through Image

PAL is the European color TV broadcasting standard that most of European countries use, including Scandinavia (Finland, Sweden)

NTSC is what USA and Japan use as their TV standard (including some other countries)
Technically however, it is not as good as PAL. But you have no choice if you order movies from these countries - like I do. Image

If you dont have VHS-VCR that can play NTSC VHS-tapes, PAL is your only choice. You need NTSC compatible TV also - but most televisions that are sold here in Europe, like Sony, are multi-standard - and these can display NTSC.

I hope that was not too complex Image
