German assault on France starts, the army defending the mines in Loos is obliterated. For some reason the Germans are also making an assault on the Maginot line.
In a counter-offensive, British bombers inflict 2 step losses on II Corps (the extreme western German flank). And the French 9th and 3rd armies inflict massive casualties on a German army, forcing it to retreat (6 or 7 steps?).
