This just started yesterday,with the latest small patch . It has kicked on the Run in ADMIN mode on our COMMAND.exe . Is this done for a reason, or was is this a bug that needs fixing. Its is easy enough for me to uncheck the Run in Admin mode, till the next update puts it right back again, so thats not a real solution long term.

Yesterday Steam went down for a short period during the middle of downloading the patch with ASP type errors from the servers. Let's hope they've not been compromised in some manner by nefarious actors.

I don't run my Steam in Admin mode, and I have no issues. I think that the issues seems to stem from Steam being able to access the files on the drive. New versions of Windows now have more restrictions on 'who' can access certain folders in their domain.[:D]

I notice the command.exe has the 'admin' mode on the file. This is the same for my Matrix vesrion exe as well.

If you turn it off, when the autorun runs and shows the Matrix menu, the flag is turned back on. Either Steam is doing this or the Matrix autorun.exe itself.
Flipping it off before starting Command itself, works fine om my Steam installation.

Is this still a problem, with B1009.27.8/.9 ?

Still a problem for me, i still need to restart steam as administrator to play the game otherwise i get the steam not running error.

Anyone else ?
